Introducing, Conrad Capalbo, Product Manager, Physical Distribution
Hey everyone, my name is Conrad and I’m excited to be joining The Orchard as the Product Manager for the Physical Music Distribution team. Since I’ve been an active musician from the age of five and have been building software for the past four years, it’s great to finally merge my passions.
I grew up north of New York City in the town of Irvington and studied Television & Radio paired with Business Finance at Ithaca College. While in Ithaca, NY I took a minor gastronomic detour thanks to farmer friends I met along the way and became comfortable with jumping off cliffs (into water of course). After graduating, I worked at a FinTech company as a software consultant and later as a product manager. Throughout that time I’ve recorded, produced and performed with a number of bands, helped a 3D printing startup get off the ground, started a weekly radio show and recently built a recording studio.
My musical tastes are all over the place and since I’m joining the physical music team I thought I’d share some of my finds this past Record Store Day.
