Elena’s early music career began when she started studying the violin at five years old. In 2003, Elena was a contestant in the Star Factory talent show. She became one of three members of the Russian girl group Serebro; the group later placed third when representing Russia in the international Eurovision Song contest in 2007.
In 2018, Elena was awarded the Top 10 Most Listened Track on Yandex Music, followed by Apple Music selecting her for Song of the Year in 2019. Over the years, Elena has won various awards including Glamour Influencer Awards, VK Awards, and New Radio Awards. Additionally, Elena has been an ambassador for Coca-Cola, L’Oreal Paris, and Tiffany & Co in Russia. Forbes also ranked her as one of the top 10 richest Russian influencers on Instagram in 2019.
Today, Elena is the only artist of modern dance music in Russia who has organized full-scale tours in Russia, with more than 150 shows per year. This multifaceted artist has written a number of hits with more than 200 million streams per year. She is also the founder of TEMNIKOVA Media Intelligence Lab, specializing in products at the intersection of AR and VR technologies, and casual clothing brand TEMNIKOVA SHOP.
Elena’s new upcoming track “Как Барби в поисках Кена” is inspired by the late 80’s Raves and rock band Kino.
