Billboard has announced the nominees for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards! Six of our labels made the list with a total of eight nominations between them. Our talented chart-toppers include Black River Entertainment’s country sensation, Kelsea Ballerini, who is up for Top Country Female Artist, and Daddy Yankee who is on the ballot for Top Latin Artist.Earning two nominations for Top Gospel Artist and Top Gospel Song, Tamela Mann dominated the charts with her uplifting and beautiful vocal stylings. An actress and Grammy nominated artist, you may recognize Tamela from her role as Cora in Tyler Perry’s popular Madea films. Her latest release via TillyMann Music Group, One Way, combines R&B and Gospel with tracks “Through It All” featuring Timbaland as well as Top Gospel nominated song “Change Me.” Hold on to your seat because you’ll definitely be blown away by her live performance below:
Reggaeton superstar Ozuna earned nominations for Top Latin Artist and Top Latin Album for his VP Records Corp/Dimelo Vi release, Odisea. With appearances on tracks alongside some of the biggest names in music, Ozuna skyrocketed in popularity in just the past two years. After kickstarting his career in 2016 with “La Ocasión,” Ozuna has recorded and performed alongside massive artists from Anuel AA, J Balvin and Nicky Jam to Romeo Santos and Cardi B.
