The 23rd annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards took place on Thursday, November 17 at the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. This year’s event was hosted by a number of acts including, Anitta, Luis Fonsi, Laura Pausini, and Thalía. The ceremony featured performances from artists Silvana Estrada (Glassnote), Marco Antonio Solís (Marbella Records), and more. Congratulations to The Orchard distributed artists and labels on receiving 9 wins!
The show kicked off with the hosts and other artists singing Marco Antonio Solís’ hits “Si No Te Hubieras Ido”, “¿A Dónde Vamos a Parar?”, and “Más Que Tu Amigo.” The Mexican icon and Marbella Records artist Marco Antonio Solís was named Latin Person of the Year. Solís expressed his thanks by saying, “My heart is full of gratitude…I appreciate everyone who has supported me throughout all these years.” There was also a special reunion performance of “Tu Cárcel” by Los Bukis, which Solís co-founded in 1975.

He also won Best Reggaeton Performance for his collaboration on the song “LO SIENTO BB:/” with Tainy and Julieta Venegas. Bad Bunny recently made GRAMMY® history by having his album Un Verano Sin Ti receive a nomination for Album of the Year – the first full Spanish-language album to ever receive a nomination in the AOTY category.
Glassnote Records artist Silvana Estrada was nominated for and won Best New Artist (tie with Angela Alvarez). On the win she said, “It was already ours. This award belongs to all [women]! Music is worth it and you have to live life with joy.”
A moment of remembrance was given to Brazilian singer Gal Costa (1945-2022) who earned the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011. “We’ll never forget you and will celebrate you with more music,” said one of the hosts.
