The Recording Academy has revealed the 66th annual GRAMMY® nominations! The awards will take place on February 4th, 2024 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA. Congratulations to The Orchard’s labels and partners on 45+ nominations!
Silvana Estrada (Glassnote Records) has earned her 1st ever GRAMMY® nomination for her song “Milagro Y Desastre” under the Best Global Music Performance category! In Estrada’s words, this song explores “the idea that big events that change your life are always miracles and disasters at the same time,” which has helped the artist to understand those events and heal.
Congratulations to Caroline Polachek on her sophomore album Desire, I Want To Turn Into You (Perpetual Novice) being nominated for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical! Desire, I Want To Turn Into You has solidified Polachek’s status as a cultural force, featuring singles like the anthemically euphoric “Welcome To My Island,” the irreverent and elusive “Bunny is a Rider”, flamenco-inspired “Sunset” and choral masterpiece “Billions”.
Mexican artist Peso Pluma (Doble P Records) scored a nomination for Best Música Mexicana Album (Including Tejano) for his sophomore album GÉNESIS. Peso Pluma has broken musical boundaries this year and continues to pave the way for Música Mexicana in the music industry and beyond.
Country star Kelsea Ballerini (Black River Entertainment), received her 4th GRAMMY® nomination for Best Country Album for her EP, Rolling Up The Welcome Mat. The EP’s short film has over 2 million YouTube views!
