The 13th edition of the AIM Awards have revealed their first round of nominations! This year’s event will take place on Thursday, October 17th at Roundhouse in London and will feature the best in independent music across the UK. The Orchard distributed artist & labels have 6 nominations across 5 categories with the next round of nominations to be announced in September!
R&B artist Jorja Smith (Famm Limited) has gained 3 nominations for Best Independent Album, Best Independent Track, and Best Independent Remix. Her nominated album ‘falling or flying’ includes nominated hit singles “Little Things” and “Little Things x Gypsy Woman – L BEATS Mashup.”
Both RAYE (Human Re Sources) and Frank Turner (Xtra Mile Recordings Ltd.) have been nominated for Best Live Performer. Public voting for this category is open here and ends September 2nd at 23:59 BST!
