2023 A2IM Libera Awards Nominations

2023 A2IM Libera Awards Nominations

The nominations for this year’s A2IM Libera Awards are now revealed! The awards will take place June 15th at Town Hall in New York City. Congratulations to The Orchard’s distributed labels and partners on more than 20 nominations!

Björk (One Little Independent) received two nominations among the A2IM Humanitarian Award and Best Pop Record categories. Her album Fossora, contains lyrics that have “urged the listener to accept a lack of control as an opportunity,” says Pitchfork.

For the Best Hip-Hop/Rap Record category, Saba (Pivot Gang LLC) received a nomination for his album Few Good Things. The Chicago-born artist/producer and Pivot Gang co-founder solidified his mark in the rap genre with this album through countless collaborations, profound artistry, and a visually stunning short film directed by C.T. Robert.

Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs’ (Nice Age) When the Lights Go and Rita Wilson’s Rita Wilson Now & Forever: Duets both received nominations for Self-Released Record of the Year.

Jack White (Third Man Records) received a nomination for Best Rock Record for his album Fear of the Dawn.
